Getting started with an easy Sudoku
Look for rows, columns and 3×3 boxes that already contain many digits. For each empty cell, check which digits are still allowed in all three units. If only one is left, you can safely enter it.
Avoid guessing. Use pencil marks for the remaining candidates, and remove them as you learn more.
What makes this level easy?
The current rating combines clue density with a step-by-step logical analyzer. Easy puzzles mainly rely on singles. The number of given digits by itself is not a reliable measure of difficulty.
